- Once the company file is found, right-click on it and select copy
- Now, head to C:drive and create a new folder
- Name that folder as QBTEST
- New QBTEST will be opened and the company file will be pasted there
- You need to open QB while holding the CTRL key simultaneously
- Now, click open tab or Restore an existing company and go through C:\QBtest folder that you had created
- Now, the company file that you had copied in the QBTEST folder will be opened
